Demo3D Example Videos - Standard Models 1

Demo3D Standard product is a great deal more than its name suggests. Most commonly used transfer mechanisms are included in the Demo3D Standard catalogs, so realistic models can be constructed economically.

Demo3D Standard also provides the other main useful features of Demo3D Professional and Demo3D Enterprise - DXF output, Bill Of Materials calculations, and the state of the
art graphics.

Demo3D Enterprise includes access to the full power of the scripting language, so Demo3D Professional catalogs are built using Demo3D Enterprise.

Basic Conveyor Sections

Demo3D models roller, belt, and chain conveyors. Many other types of conveyor may be modeled in Demo3D, but the vast majority of automated material handling systems use just these three.

Products which can be carried by these types of conveyor include pallets, boxes, totes, trays, etc.

Tray Turner

The forward momentum of each tray is sufficient to cause it to transfer across from one section the next, turning as it does so.

The user-defined curve acts identically to the real thing, converting that momentum and making the transfer happen.

Reversing Conveyors

Demo3D conveyor sections are just like the real thing - they have a motor that can be turned on and off, a speed that can be varied, and a direction that can be reversed.

Loads in this model are pushed physically from one conveyor to another, and are then projected back onto the original section.
